Postal 3 has been announced by Running With Scissors! It's slated for 2008 and will run on Valve's Source Engine. It's also coming for the PC and Xbox360.

The cast for the actor who will be playing the Postal Dude is over, and Zack Ward is the name! You probably know him from the funny show "Titus", although he also had appearances in hit shows such as "Deadwood", "Lost" or "Crossing Jordan".

As previously announced, the competition being hosted by Eternal Damnation's team is now live. Here's the details:

"You are in the small town of Hassleridge and wake to find the streets overrun by zombies. As you look around in awe a Zombie spots you and closes in with some of his flaky friends."

Describe how you would escape your fate to the closest Military outpost that is situated 10 miles away through a small town.

You can raid shops, steal cars use other survivors to help you escape etc. But remember that there are alot of zombies everywhere. It must be origional, realistic and exciting. Use your imagination.


You can win 1 of 2 books (The Zombie Survival Guide or Book of the Dead: The Complete History of Zombie Cinema). For full details, including rules, check their forums.

It's Hugh Jackman!

Good news! The actor that will play the Postal Dude on the upcoming Postal Movie has been selected and it's no less than X-Men and Van Helsing superstar Hugh Jackman! RWS has the word with the following information on their website:

In a casting move designed to "enhance overseas sales" controversial director Uwe Boll has reportedly attached Hugh Jackman to play the lead in his upcoming film version of the videogame POSTAL.

"Okay, he's a little short," Dr. Boll reportedly conceded. "But he's EXTREMELY Postal!" In another unexpected selection, Zanfir, Master of the Pan Flute, has been attached to compose the score. "People always think of flutes as soft. I want to make them explode! You'll never think the same way about the pan flute after this movie!"

The March edition of Running With Scissors' newsletter has been released and it features as this month's Postal babe Stacy, along the usual round of Postal Bullets, the Postal Nation and The Game Doctor's insights.

In the newsletter, RWS also unveils a music project:

We are looking to work with individual musical artists and groups who want to be a part of something unique and international in scope. We will choose music based on what we think is appropriate to represent the RWS attitude and the POSTAL brand.

The results of Mod DB's Mod of the Year award have placed AW7 in the 15th place. This is time you'd say "wow" since it's right up there side-by-side with the high-profile and popular mods for the major mainstream games.
