I am currently working on a map for Team Fortress2 ...and yes, it is another No One Lives Forever map rebuild. I recreated a few Nolf maps for Postal in the past. And some people might say "Can't he just build OWN maps??" ...Maybe i could. But sometimes a map from your old favourite Onlinegame could fit into your NEW favourite online game. ^^ And knowing how your map should look in the end makes learning a new mapeditor so much easier....
Well ...i recorded a Video of my NOLF_Marrakesh map. I allready posted this a few days ago in the german forums section.

The textures are not 100% done and some places still need lighning. I will add several Meshes and Details ...but at least it looks kinda ok so far. :lookaround:

Wow, my first thought was: Man thats a HUGE map! :D
Man, that big must take so much hours to build. Really nice map, looks very nice, almost no different to the original maps. For how much Players do you think it would be perfect? The more the better? :D
In my opinion, i like rebuild maps if they where build with passion.
But you need more static meshes i think. For example second 8-14 seem too empty for such a big room. I havent played the game for several month, so i couldnt say what´s avaiable to put in.

Overall very nice bro! B)

Hmm yes i would say i spend at least 150 hours ...This includes the time i needed to learn how the hammereditor works.

I would say at least 24 players. :D The map might be very big but in this case at least one team member has to play engineer and build teleporters to cut the walking distances to a minimum. And spys have a reason to destroy those teleports

Rebuilding old maps on a newer game engine and giving it a complete new look is kinda nice. :) And sometimes people are surprised to play a map that they played 10 years ago :D

Yes the map looks kinda empty right now. As soon as i added details, ammo and health pickups i am ready to release a beta version.

Your map looks totally awesome :> I bet it took you lots of hours to build. Did you use the Radiant? ....I'm just asking, because a few days ago i visited the homepage of "The dark Mod" I don't know if its the same kind of editor, but i think the "darkradiant" might be simular to your editor. Maybe you would like to have a look ;)
