(From the RWS GoPostal Forum message "FAQ: Postal 3, A Postal 3 FAQ".)
(Well, at least, we now know that it is all about P3's FAQ.)

Quote

Will Postal 3 retrain its predecessors open-ended dynamic?

From the following quote, this is more than likely (emphasis added):
QUOTE (http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=12790)
In order to help players discover how much content there will be in Postal 3, the game will have what he is calling a series of training missions that will inform players on the many different options in the full open world portion of the game.

So, is this saying that P3 will be another simple minded gaunlet-game with back-to-back "training missions", like in their AW "arcade game", with only a very small bit of "full open world", like within AW's lower Paradise City? (And therefore, a HUGE disappointing failure with a lot of P2 players, like me? ) <_<

BTW, this just felt like the right time to express some personal anti-AW feelings, before they dump another dumb run-n-gun game with "Postal" simply slapped on it!

I think AW is awesome for what it is. A addon with a bunch of new missions to do. It was never supposed to be like p2 in the first place, in fact, it wasnt even supposed to get a public release :P

And about p3, i think they will make the city way open for roaming. But, as they said once in an interview, it does will be a little smaller then postal2 was. Well, i guess wait and see. RWS knows what the fans want, and they never failed to deserve it B)

Why are you never around the RS forums? There's where all the fun is :(

(Well, here I am almost a year later, replying. . .)

But Better Late then Never in my book. B)

And when I get a P3 Demo for the PC, I will probably be firing-up my Yahoo group, as much as I can! :badass:

(Then I will be able to barn-storm all of my other groups with some GREAT P3 NEWs, mates.)
