First off i'm going to asume that you know how to make a basic geometry if not Basic BSP Architecture Tutorial Here!
Away from the rest of your map subtract a room, this will be your backdrop for your sky. Texture it with pretty stars, or skies and stuff.
Now, in the actor browser look for the class
Actor>Info>ZoneInfo>SkyZoneInfo
and place this in the middle of the skybox.
Where ever this actor is placed is where the character will be seeing the sky from (after you test you'll understand)
this is neat, cause you can place static meshes in your skybox, and you'll be able to see them from the rest of your level. Alot of neat tricks can be made here.
Now back to the rest of your map, select the faces you want (the walls you want to be sky) and right click and select "Surface Properties"
under the flags tab, check off "Fake Backdrop" and voila! you know have skyage when you play the map
erm remember to rebuild
