why do i get the no paths from playerstart0 when i go to build all??

UnrealEd is basically talking about pathnodes, and it mentions playerstart because the start also acts as one. Other stuff like doors and weapons are also pathnodes of their own.
The nodes are used for navigation. The people will still roam around without pathnodes, but with them they can travel a lot more and know how to get places.
To add them you can just right click in the 3d view (you can add them in the other views but I'm just saying 3d for the hell of it) and you'll see "add pathnode". Then when UnrealEd builds all it sets up links between pathnodes that are close enough and visible to each other.
Check out http://udn.epicgames...t/NavigationAI/ for some information on setting them up right.
Of course this is if you even want them at all.
