textures...create and import

hi!

how can I create, edit and import my own textures? I'm not an expert for such things. Please help me! It's really important!

Ok now, Your going to have to go read somethings if you keep going .
There are alot of good readings on useing the unreal ed." p2 ed"
But you need your pics to be 256 by 256 or 512 by 512 .
there are a lot of sizes , but must be keep with in the right size .

You can make a .utx to put theam in or .... :devil:

So yes go read all this .udn
and thean ask me something :P

ok thank you very much! Now I know that I have to make TGA files. That's no problem. But I still have no idea how to convert the TGA file into a DDS file and how to convert a DDS file into a bmp or TGA file. I don't know how to use these nVidia utilities command lines. Can you help me?

if you have Photoshop (CS2) you can use the NVIDIA plugin to edit DDS files...
I tried to change the face of a fat guy but when I try to EXport the damn file to PostED, nothing happens. The fat guy's face still the same fucking shit face... :piss: :piss:

yeah...the problem is that I dont have photoshop....isnt there another possibility?
