weapon editing

I remember there was a post of a video on several things in the editor, including weapon editing....but cannot find it anywhere...

weapon editing in the editor :o

never do that,as it messes up badly.

there is 2 ways you can do a weapon,

you can make a weapon in max or maya or whatever say for example an ak-47,then have it attack to the hand by code and alpha filter the original gun mesh out.

or

you can make your mesh and animations and import them into the editor with max.

the first one is the easiest as you don't have to do your own animations ect and can use existing ones.

if i get time later ill do a short tutorial :)

If you make you will make it in all map - i think replacing is damn long and projective and making is harder - i think you should edit postal.exe and much more do as wovle said more
