importing texture crashes post ed

Ok, I have NEVER imported a texture before, so I tried import after creating a new group.....however, it always gives me a 0x0..... I looked around for more info but could not find any..one of those things I never done before. I did try editing the texture after, but if I try changing it in the propertys afterwards, it locks up the editor.


Do they need to be a specific dimension, or is soemthign else wrong.


files are TGA


edit, where can I get the dds plugin?

tga's need to be saved as 32 bit most of the time or when you import they come up blank.

dds comes from nvidia site,get them here

when saving as a standard texture its best to save as dxt3 explicite alpha

(soz about the spelling its early in morning lol)

EDIT:oh allso dds need to be by the power of 2 (64x64 256x256 or 516x516 size) or unrealed will swear at you.
