Torque Engine?? WTF is that!?

Where's Unreal Engine 3? Wheres Source Engine?

They said they're not going to use the DOOM Engine and the Torque Engine hasen't really been seen but it may be true!

They have not decide what they will use.
And in this early state of planing its stupid making threads about what engine it will use.
If rws knows it, they will tell, until then just wait.

Hey guys, I'm Jon M from RWS and I just wanted to confirm that RWS are more then happy to see this kinda user made mod for another engine. As P3 is going to also be on the source engine it will tie in nicely. I have the asylum map pretty much remade for half life 2 (just me experimenting with the editor) So if you wanted that for your mod you are welcome to use it.
Feel free to use any p2 resources for this mod if it is still in progress, like the dudes voice ect. We are very interested to see how this turns out.

i dont like source too. a bad choice. why they took it? is it cheaper than the other ones?

at a guess i would say because its better looking graphics and smoother gameplay,other than that i have no idea.

I think that the Unreal engine's fine, I personally wouldn't really care if the graphics didn't change. I'm perfectly comfortable with the unreal engine so it'll be a nightmere having to relearn an engine, but if source will vastly help the process of making the game and the game its self I can't see no harm.

check out gopostal,on front page is the press release for it,its definatly on source.
and from messing with engine and from what i have seen reson it is on source is because ANYTHING can be done with the source engine,its just a fucker to learn and not as fun as unreal :(
