I dont know what it is but for some reason everything was running fine and I got on "Tuesday" and I saved the game in middle of it cuz I had to go somewhere, and now whenever I load that game it shows the loading screen and everything and when its completely loaded my computer restarts itself! Is this a bug or my computer just gay?

BTW I have a 2.4GHz Pentium 4, 512MB ram, 80GB HD, with a crappy 3d Extreme G AGP card. So its pretty much new, considering I got it January 2003.

Forget the loading problem its when I walk INTO the Library on Tuesday.. damn loading zone. What the hell is wrong with it, anyone else got this problem???!

Maybe if u change the behavior of ur machine to instead of restarting  when an error shows  to  actually show the error but still running windows,,,    maybe then u will have the same problem as i do ?  i get  kicked out of the game and a error msg appears...... :repuke:

maybe you must complete the other missions first. A friend of me had the same problem..he send me the save file and we made it on my computer, but maybe it works if you finish the other missions first.

Yup, I think the missions was the problem. Thats a bug RWS needs to fix in their 1st patch! I ended up doing the other errands and went to library last, it ended up working. Thanks for the help though.

Ok what the FUCK. I just loaded a savepoint after quitting the game *in the library* and just now when I loaded it, it restarted my computer again! How can I stop this!??!


Im off to play Diablo 2 now.. grrrr....  :figered:

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Startup and Recovery.

Untick "Automatically restart" and set memory dump to None.

That way you should get a blue screen the next time instead of your computer just restarting.  Could get more information that way.

Some possible reasons this may be happening is because you have bad memory or HD, or you might be overheating.  You should go into bios and check your temp and see.  You can also use programs like http://www.maxtor.co...tm?powermax.exe and http://www.memtest86.com/ to check your HD and Memory for errors.

Ok I dunno what the deal is but I think those things that use my A drive, all fucked it up and shit cuz its making loud ass humming sounds and stuff whenever it tries to put stuff on the disk. Other than that its still making me restart, even with a blue screen. Is there a way I could make my temperature better?

Heh, I didnt get one Crash in P2 all the way up to Friday. Now after I left the compound and trying to make my way back I keep getting crash after freakin crash........what the fuck!!?? :2up:
-Postal2 is a great game but it definitely needs to be adressed with a patch SOON. :(
