Im currently using an awful Dell C610 laptop, i know, i know :P , but i got it for free from my dads work.
The specs i can find are these:

My game is very, very slow, and ive followed guides for this kind of thing, and sure, theyve boosted it a bit, but not much. I really need a better computer, and im probably going to get a custom built one with some decent specs, but i was wondering if there is anything i can do for now?
Thanks,
Alex.

The requirements for Postal 2 are:
Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP -check!

Minimum
733 MHz Pentium 3 -check!
Recommended
1.2 GHz Pentium 3 -almost!

Minimum
128 MB RAM -check!
Recommended
384 MB RAM -check!

but:
Minimum
32 MB GeForce2-class
Recommended
64 MB GeForce3-class
DirectX 8.1 compatible video and sound card required

That might be the root of your problem, what graphics card is in that laptop?
