I have created my first map using UnrealED, ive got the map all finished, textured, bot pathed etc.
I sent my new map (with the map file, texture file and static meshes file) over to a mate, I hosted a new game but when he tries to 'Join Game' it just comes up:
"Connenction Failed [MAP NAME].fuk Version Mismatch
This also happens when I try to join his Hosted game, I have patched my version and his to 1409, but still the error comes up.
I have tried searching Google, these forums and a few other help sites with no luck.
Any help would be great

i know what that is,happens when you have some meshes or whatever that someone else hasn't or tother way round ussually they can download the missing files from you
but sometimes they can't so....
install a clean copy of postal to a differant path (if you have more than 1 h/d and postals on c:/program.......postal2 then install a new one to D:/program........postal2
thats how i got mine working :/

Ha Ha , Thats not to hard to fix,
what you did /maybe was save the map in a zip & save the map in your map folder .Now its a Mismatch
2 maps same name 2 saves,,,,,,

Nope when I zipped it i had all the files copied to my desktop then zipped the folder, I thought it might have got corrupted so I just uploaded the single files to my FTP and tried it that way, again with no luck.

Ive got a few hard drives running at the moment so ill try that but I cant see it working as all the static meshes and textures I used were in my own packages which we both have, and we can both play the map on multiplayer with morons (bots).
Ill let you know if the new install works or not, im willing to try everything!!!
Cheers
