I always pulled it off by shot gun... btw what status did you get ? I get something like "Cop`s drone pushed to the edge"

yeah, i also had only one pistol-headshot...
i got rated Society Shunning, Grade A Psycho with 1400 kills...yeah

I might be wrong, but i think that its when your victim is trying to crawl away (or cowering in fear) and you pop one shot w/ the pistol.  That's just my guess, considering there is no way to kill someone with one shot w/ the pistol (unless they had a previous fight).

You have to shoot them in the back of the head to get a one shot kill with the pistol.

Yeah it has to be done to the back of the head.

I would just run right up to someone who had their back turned to me, and shoot them RIGHT between the neck and the head...and most of the time they'd fall dead instantly.

Must be some special sensitive area they've put into the damage system.

Hitting the top portion of the back of their head won't do it though, you gotta aim closer to the neck/lower head.

I found it easier to do to pedestrians who were running away away from me...I'd just catch up to them (since the Postal Dude seems to run faster than everyone) and right when I'm about to touch them I pull trigger. Works like a charm..

I only pulled off 3 of those the intire game.i tried the lower neck thing but just couldnt pull it off.My rank in enhanced mode (aggresive) was "Hitler would be proud" with 2400 kills.

To clear up confusion.
To make a pistol headshot you have to be really close, gun almost touching head, and hit anywhere in the back of the head.
That's what I've worked out from the code anyway.
But most of you have modded it anyways.
