Ok, I am not a noob to gaming, my rig is tricked out to run most of the top of the line games full loaded at 1280X1024 (Doom3,Unreal2K4,FarCry,Painkiller, yadda yadda). I am fairly familiar with the various incarnations of the unreal engine. I have played Postal from the original all the way through. However, I finally have enough space that I can keep in on for good. ( I always had to bump it, for something new due to space issues - I am a music Junkie)

So here come some questions:

Can I have both Vanilla Postal 2 and STP installed at the same time?

Do maps made for Postal 2 work for STP ( single player obviously)?
(Which is why I might need to have both installed)

How about Mods? Same deal?

I assume I can only have one version of AW installed - or rather I can only upgrade one of my versions of Postal 2. Correct? I can buy import stuff through gogamer.com, so if I bought a UK version of AW and a US version which is already on the way from Gamestop, would I succeed at updating both my normal Postal 2 install and my STP install?

I love to play multiplayer, and one of the things I always liked about the unreal engines was the ability to play against computer AI bots for practice and warmup. Are there ways to modify the bots in Postal 2's engine, other than giving them a max IQ of 80? I know in some games you can give them weapon preferences, tendencies (likes to camp) etc, these sort of help me simulate playing against the group I normally play against. ( I have one friend who always like the heaviest weapon available - always! --- another sniper/camper type -- another who is a charger berserker kind of guy - comes running straight at you all the time, you ge the idea) It had been so long since I played any of the older Unreals, I am not sure which engine Postal 2 is using. I am guessing the original Unreal Tournament, at least for STP - Mutators, etc.

Any help would be appreciated. I you want to just be a H8er - save it. I am not a Jr. high school kid, who thinks he's leet and got mad skillz. I am just a long time fan, who can run this crazy game as smooth as silk now, and want to try and add all the goodies to it I can while the getting is good.

Bu the way ED looks phenomenal. If you don't charge for it, which is very generous by the way, at least create a link for paypal donations. I am not a wealthy guy, but I would certainly contribute some cash to help show my appreciation for what must have taken years to complete - just becuase you guys love this game. Thats pretty fucking cool.

Late,

Ps. Hey Oagh (great map maker person), I tried to email you, but am not sure if you got my post. Let me know, I am eager to hear back from you.

Yep, you can have them installed both at once, but why do you want it this way?

Cause generally Postal2 STP is just the same as Postal2 Single Player + Multiplayer Modus...

The only reason I can think of is that some mods wont work with STP but just with Postal2.

I dont know if there are any mutators out, where you can modify it, but I guess it would be possible...

The Postal2 Engine is an early build of the UT2003 engine.
