big blocky black squares on blood, bulletholes

when ever i shoot someone the blood has a big black square around it, so does the explosions, and bulletholes. And on certain objects that i shoot, the whole thing turns black. Please help me!

Try to update your graphic drivers, or reinstall, sounds like a grapic related problem.

Also,if that doesnt work try using open GL instead of Direct X.
